Plain Chow Mein
Ingredients:
200g Beansprouts, 300g Dried Noodle, ½ teaspoon of minced garlic, 1 tablespoon of oyster sauce, ½ tablespoon of dark soy sauce, 1/4 teaspoon of white pepper powder, 1 teaspoon of oil and a few drops sesame oil.
Preparation:
Blanch the noodles for 3 minutes in boiling water. Rinse in cold cold water and leave drain. Wash the beansprouts and leave to drain.
Cooking Instruction:
Heat a wok with 1 tablespoon of oil. Fry garlic and beansprouts for two minutes. Add white pepper powder. Add noodles, oyster sauce and dark soy sauce and mix together. Finally, add a few drops of sesame oil and stir. Ready to serve.
This is a typical Hong Kong style breakfast or afternoon tea dish.
